What is the MACC?

 

The Mideast Area Community Collaborative  or MACC is devoted to the positive development of the mid-east side of Columbus.  The MACC encompasses the 9th and part of the 14th Police Precincts.  Organizations who collaborate include Beechwood Civic, Berwick Civic, Berwyn East Civic, Easthaven Civic, East Hampton Civic, Leawood Gardens Neighborhood Association, Livingston Heights Place Civic, Mayfair/Peacekeepers Civic, North Eastmoor Civic, South Eastmoor Civic, Thunderbird Acres Civic, Remington Ridge Civic and Willis Park Civic. The MACC oversees zoning, as well as many other community related issues. It is a great venue for  discussion, community decision making and collaboration of solutions. The MACC increases community engagement for safety and beautification efforts!

 

Our Mission:

To improve communication between communities, and to increase the efficiency of resources and activities to better serve each member organization.

 

Our Meetings

 

Our meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Columbus Metropolitian Library, Livingston Branch located at 3434 E. Livingston Ave.
